i don't have an irish bone in my body, but i live in America the beautiful. Saint Patrick's Day is a big deal here. while for many it's an excuse to get shit faced on guinness, for me, it's a good reason to go green... here's how we do it. first, find a song with some green in it; here's mine:
then indulge in the custom of wearing some green, which i do from time to time anyway. a little touch of emerald is enough! if green isn't your thing, cut the crap & don't do the green underwear stunt... unless you're totally hot & will walk around in nothing else all day! that's totally acceptable... another way to sport green without really wearing it is to have someone pretty in green hang on to you all day, as the ultimate accessory. it's simple, let me demonstrate...

fun fact: the green items in these pictures from last week are both Andean. my pretty in green lady is wearing a traditional Peruvian jacket; i'm wearing a green v-neck made of alpaca wool in Ecuador. my dear mother stocked up on those when we lived in Quito & i still get a new one every year around the holidays... by the way, these were pulled from the worst & rolling blackouts ... GO RAIBH MAITH AGAIBH!
