this is my favourite rotating sign in all of LA, on Sunset Blvd. in Silverlake. the urban myth is that you'll have a nice day if you first see Happy Foot when looking up, while all bets are off if you look up to see Sad Foot. when i make eye contact with Sad Foot's bloodshot eyes, i'm superstitious enough to pull over, wait for the sign to turn & catch Happy Foot's encouraging disposition... Happy Foot always makes me feel like everything is gonna be okay, and that LOVE IS GONNA BE ON MY SIDE!
