MASSIVE☼PICS☀CLIPS☀MP3Z

The Masses... is a Los Angeles collective of multi-disciplinarian artists: directors, designers, animators, performers... and the list goes on & on! founded by Matt Amato & the late Heath Ledger, The Masses has grown into a solid production shop where everyone on the roster collaborates with one another, with a few competitive chess games in between:

Benjamin Kutsko recently directed & did the visual effects, editing & finishing on a phenomenal video for Fawnhawk - Hunters' Hide. before that, Ben mastered the visual effects on another video by The Masses from director Isaiah Seret - Devendra Banhart's Foolin' (both videos posted below)... when The Masses re-launched their outdoor summer screenings of classics with a special arc on Southern California's new frontier, held every monday by The Roosevelt Hotel's pool, they hand picked one of their videos as a sensory appetizer - Foolin' before George Lucas' American Graffiti two weeks ago, and Hunter's Hide before Sidney Pollack's The Way We Were presented just last week by none other than a Hollywood classic, yet very modern friend of The Masses - Rose McGowan... musical interludes by Carlos Niño & Cut Chemist... here's the rest of my lo-fi mobile pics taken on the fly, with a few more tunes i hope you enjoy:

the sunday before, i also made it to the Hollywood Forever cemetery for their outdoor screening of one of my all time favourite movies - Michelangelo Antonioni's Blow Up:
