i wrapped up the holiday weekend at the Miike Snow afterparty... from penning pioneering pop singles such as Britney Spears' Toxic, to playing in punk bands, DJing, producing & churning out a plethora of remixes over the years, the boys behind Miike Snow - Pontus Winnberg & Christian Karlsson also known as Bloodshy & Avant - took over the decks at School Night. here's their latest video by one of my favourite directors - Andreas Nilsson:

memorial day weekend kicked off with with DJ Harvey, whom i hadn't seen in a while, and belgian boys Aeroplane at Rhonda-Vous... it's been soooo long since i've bouncey bounced on a dancefloor like an early 90s raver!!! as for the crowd, it was a little more like in this video... i also took some downtime hiking with Chicho, and hit up some BBQs. the pics below are from Irene's birthday one... between photos, i'm including a few more tunes. Damb's sampling of Harry Belafonte in Daylight is a little psychedelic; Francis & The Lights has a bit of a Genesis vibe to it, which i love; speaking of which, Ali Love's Love In Darkness gets me pumped! ok, here we go:
