Azalea invited me for lunch at this amazing sushi place in Little Tokyo. the restaurant has no sign outside & i'm not aloud to tell you where it is. it's one of her best kept secrets & i have to honor it. at lunch, they get a few business people in suits, most of them Japanese. women in full on geisha getups bring their own silver chopsticks... Azalea says that dinner there goes around $150 per person. during the day, the chef only prepares 15 bento lunch boxes like this one (only $10), so we got there at noon to make sure we'd get one:
the mackerel was amaaazing! there's nothing better than a good healthy lunch to stabilize my mood!!! on this pic, Azalea looks so Asian her face belongs in an ad for Cathay Pacific or something:
since Comme Des Garçons is doing a Pop Up Store we swung by... they still hadn't received the clothes that are stuck in customs, but they should get here anytime now:
around the corner, the shoe store features Puma by the amazing Alexander McQueen. it really sucks to be poor when you really need this pair of $3000 shoes (with wooden shoe box):
i've been on the lookout for brown shoes for a while now. i didn't even know these were Alexander McQueen, my eyes just led me to pick up the shoe. it was love at first sight. since there was no price tag i had to ask for the price... heartbreaking!!! shit, i need to rob a bank & get my feet in these pumps!!! upon further investigation, the pair i'm madly in love with is the black "amq scythe mid." it's the 2nd pair of shoes down the list on this site... anyhew, between my house & downtown we passed the home of the LA philharmonic:
